Becoming Healthy Australia was established by dietitian Bill Coote in 1976 to provide specialised meal replacement products and advice to help Australians manage a range of health problems. The primary focus is on weight loss and prevention of heart disease and Type II diabetes.

Bill Coote is an Australian dietitian with over 30 years experience. Bill’s qualifications are a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, a Master of Science in Food Technology and a Graduate Diploma in Nutrition & Dietetics.
From 1971 through until 1976 Bill worked in a variety of Sydney hospitals including Prince Henry and the Royal Hospital for Women. In 1976 he moved to Flinders Medical Centre in Adelaide as Chief Dietitian of the newly-opened hospital. In 1979 he returned to Sydney and took up a position as Product Specialist, Enteral and Parenteral Nutrition, with Baxter-Travenol In 1985 he established his private dietetic practice which he has been operating ever since.
Bill offers personal nutrition consulting to people with food-related illnesses and those interested in health promotion and disease prevention.
