About Becoming Healthy

Becoming Healthy Australia was established by dietitian Bill Coote in 1976 to provide specialised nutritional products, solutions and advice that meet the needs of an increasingly overweight and aging population.  The primary focus is on weight loss and prevention of heart disease and Type II diabetes.  This expertise is more crucial than ever for today's Australians.

Becoming Healthy sets itself apart from other weight loss programs by maintaining a balance between accessibility to the millions of people across Australia at risk for these diseases and the provision of professional dietetic advice to individuals.

Today our expertise and product range span four key areas of nutritional need: weight loss, nutrition for busy and active people, nutrition for peak performance and nutrition support for people with poor appetite or lack of interest in food and cooking due to age or illness.  Becoming Healthy makes good health accessible to all Australians by offering reliable products and advice that is available where and when it is needed at an affordable price.
